How we create architecture animation

Our studio has a relatively simple process for producing animation that makes it as easy for you as possible. We mean that the time between agreeing on the terms of the project and delivering the animation(s) will be as fast as you can get anywhere, and all the work will be polished to your satisfaction.

Collecting assets

Most of our architectural animation is produced in 3D, so if you have a project of this type, we will need the 3D assets and information about the setting that you want visualized, and the sequence of events in the animation.

Setting up the scene

Our animators get to work at putting everything in motion. Naturally, we make physical realism a priority, so weight, angles of movement, material density, and various other key factors are considered for the simulations to be accurate and lifelike.

Post-production work

With the main animation work complete, we look for any unnatural artifacts and flaws, adjust the lighting/shadows, and add any requested visual effects. If needed, we create detailed renders or prepare the animation for integration into software.

Where can I use a completed architectural animation?

You probably already have at least one purpose for animation in mind, but the great part about our architectural 3D animation company is how much more we let you do with the completed assets. For example, the overall clip can be used for promotional materials while the created scene can be utilized for beautiful renders. The animation and 3D assets can also be integrated into software (such as training simulations, BIM, and home customization apps).

Can you create animation with immersive/interactive features?

Yes, but it will need to be integrated into a platform, and cannot just be presented as a media file. Our artists and animators would be responsible for the 2D/3D models, animation, and UI elements (if the platform in question is being custom built) while our developers would be in charge of the software and integrations of the clips into it. Thus, we do more than just produce 2D/3D content, and will be thrilled to help you build features, functionality, and software as well.

What is your approach to creating animation with walkthroughs/flyovers?

Over many years spent working in this field, we have generally found that the most effective way to do this is by using an engine like Unity/Unreal. They do a great job of providing tools for selecting and modifying camera angles of a scene, and setting up light sources and shading. Obviously, they also have some pretty useful options for working with 3D models, since countless 3D tours, walkthroughs, and flyovers are crafted in them.
